Answers to the frequent asked questions our clients have about the packages and its reservations.

1. Can I create a personalized itinerary for my travel?

Yes, you have to contact us with the ideas or plans that are on your mind, we will send you an itinerary including the price to your email.

We are open to doing the research and include tours and activities that are not on the website in your itinerary, but we recommend you use the offered packages and tours as a reference to build your itinerary, especially the packages because they are based on successful experiences of previous clients.

2. Is there a special fare for children/infants?

Yes, you can travel with children. Please inquire for special rates if not stated already.

3. How much time in advance should I book?

Usually we recommend a minimum of 1 month.

4. Is there a special discount for groups?

Yes we have special rates for groups. Please inquire for more details.

5. Do you usually apply extra fees for changes in the reservation?

Fees may apply for different tours and services that are executed with 3rd party providers.

6. Which is your policy about cancellation?

If your trip is cancelled before the final payment date, we will return all deposits to you. If you cancel after your final payment is made, we will proceed with the cancellation policies of each individual supplier.

Planet Conservation Travel (Planet Conservation S.A.) will try to negotiate the best possible outcome for you. Any refund given would be less a 5% fee, charged by credit cards or banks to return the money. There is no refund for any cancellation made 30 days or less prior arrival nor for any unused services.

7. Should I pay online in advance?

To confirm all services a pre-payment is required.

8.Should I necessarily print the confirmation email?

No, it is not necessary if you carry a screenshot and your reservation number on your phone.

9. Is the flight fare included in the price?

No, airfare is not included in the price, only if stated differently.

10.Is the transfer from/to the airport included in the fare?

Yes, in our packages airport pickup and dropoff are included.

11. Are meals included in the price?

As stated within the included services.

12. In which languages are the tours available?

Usually all tours are bilingual English-Spanish. If you require tours in other languages fees may apply for aditional guides.

13. Are the entrance fees included in the fare?

No, entrance fees for National Parks or Biological reserves are NOT included.

14. Do your tours include an insurance?

Our tour providers count with insurance up to date. We strongly recommend that you purchase short-term traveller’s insurance covering baggage, accident/life and trip cancellation. In case of an emergency, we will have to honour each hotel and operator’s cancellation policies.

15. Do you provide help with the necessary documents/visa?

Please inquire with your embassy for all needed paperwork you would need to bring with you. We are happy to assist in the country.

16. I need to get in contact with you. In which days/timings are you available?

For inquiries and reservations you can reach our team during office hours 8-5pm (GMT-6). For emergencies we provide a 24h in country Emergency number when you are traveling with us.
