LEARN SPANISH AND VOLUNTEERING IN THE CARIBBEAN

Learn Spanish intensively in Costa Rica in a unique and immersive way. This Intensive Program in collaboration with Diversity School offers 16hrs in group or 8hrs private lessons. You will have an introductory test upon arrival to place you with your ideal group. The lessons are either in the morning or in the afternoon, depending of the schedules of the group. the remaining time of your first week you can use to explore the area by bike, take surf lessons, play beach volleyball or just relax at our own pool area. We also include free yoga and dance classes in this course. The second week you will become part of our local team to support our projects such as  beach cleanups, recycling initiatives or help at our social kids club in town, where local kids receive for example art, music, environmental education and school support. We also include tours to Cahuita National Park and also to the local indigenous community where you are invited to taste pure organic chocolate.

SAMPLE ITINERARY:

DAY 1: Airport Pickup

DAY 2: Travel to the Caribbean and stop for a fun Rafting Tour on the way to your destination

DAY 3: Start your Spanish class with our local teachers that invite you to learn about culture and traditions in our open classroom. After your first hours of Spanish class we take you on a tour through the vibrant colourful town 

DAY 4: Continue with your Spanish lessons and enjoy a relaxing afternoon (or sign up for an introductory surf lesson $55 US)

DAY 5: Continue with your Spanish lessons and participate in our free Yoga Class in the afternoon.

DAY 6: Snorkeling trip to Cahuita National Park with bilingual guide  

DAY 7:  Spanish school excursion to local Indigenous community and cacao Farm. If the weather permits we will take you to a waterfall on our way back.

DAY 8: free

DAY 9: Today you can sign up for the Adventure tour/Ziplining where you can enjoy the jungle from the bird perspective.

DAY 10: Today we will start with your volunteer activity in our Recycling workshop you will be helping our team to classify plastics, clean and process the microplastics into new items.

DAY 11: Our weekly beach clean-up will take place in the morning. Please also try to spot a SLOTH

DAY 12: Today you are invited to participate in our Social Program with and for local kids between the age of 6-12years. The love some games and you can help prepare and execute a specific workshop together with our team. Enjoy a free SALSA dance class in the afternoon.

DAY 13: Today you will have time to search for souvenirs to take home before its time to say goodbye. A shuttle service will take you to San Jose to your hotel.

DAY 14: Airport drop off according to your flight schedule. Thank you for your visit and we hope you had an amazing time. Puravida!!
